"I’ve been a Koko club member in Cary for 4 yrs now — it seems like yesterday!  I had always been running or walking so my main focus was to do strength training.  Though I had numerous “how to weight train” books, I would only attempt to do them sporadically, unsure how to do them, what weight to use, and how many to do.  After doing a strength assessment, I was given a Koko Key that contained the exercises I would be performing during a 30 min time period.  The weight I would work with was customized to me!  I learned that halfway through the 2, 6, 8, or 12 week session, I would be asked to do another strength assessment to determine if I my muscles had become stronger, thus the 2nd half of my program, I would be working with heavier weights if I chose to.  Another benefit of having a “digital coach” is I can browse my program at home to see how far I’ve come.  There’s also an excellent nutrition section online that I can customize to my needs.  Getting back to the cardio aspect, it is fun listening to a coach and viewing a display screen of various scenes during the 15-minute segments.   I am glad I made the decision to walk into the Koko club and try out the machines. "
